Leading Lines : lines that appear in a photograph that has been framed and positioned by the photographer to draw the viewer's eye towards a specific point of interest. Vertical Lines : lines that convey a variety of different moods in a photograph ranging from power and strength to growth Horizontal lines: The most commonly used horizontal line in photography genres that are practiced outdoors is the Earth's horizon – the apparent line that separates the land from the sky. Diagonal Lines : have the freedom to move around and lead the viewer to the focal point of an image. They convey depth and perspective in the image. Curved Lines : lines that have the effect of slowing the photograph down and suggesting time passing. It suggests a tranquil, restful mood and having time to get there.
