This week I worked on multiplying my fire simulations now that I knew how and animating my temple destruction scene
the method of duplicating a flow source in edit mode under one domain worked however it left my fire simulation oddly large compared to the flow source and oddly enough making the flow source smaller did not change the size of the simulation
it looks a little weird in rendered but it is still successfully duplicated and honestly i am happy with how little lag the fire pits caused.
The torches on the other hand although they looked very good after duplication they caused some extreme lag in my file when baked
I also created a simulation for my temples destruction.
this was a massive headache, i attempted to make it so the shards of the temple would only seperate when a certain velocity hit them but i could only make it when there was a collision which caused my entire temple to fall apart before my stature hit the middle. I fixed this by adding keyframes for when they would be activated with when my statue hit but this took a long time because i could not copy the keyframes to one object at once.
