This week I wanted to get my characters completely ready so I could do animation with them next week

Firstly I realized that I needed to make the clothing follow the movements of my characters. I did this by parenting with automatic weights. I then cleaned this up by selecting the neck bone to control the entire mask and it worked perfectly.





next I had to parent the leaf skirt which was even more complicated, to save a lot of time i joined some of the leafs that would not really move together but I did have to move them back in edit mode after they moved into a weird spot after parenting. in the end that worked pretty well also.





then knowing I would need at least one more character for what I would like to get done I duplicated the mesh and armature and made sure it worked properly. I also changed the other ones mask to give it more personality





Finally I moved everything into a new file and put the characters into the positions they would need to be at the start if my animation which I will continue next week.
