The Camera- ISO and Gain
What is ISO
ISO is a setting in the camera that changes the camera sensitivity to light. Changing This can make an image appear brighter with the drawback that the image has more visual noise. This will make it appear more grainy. You could use higher ISO when the scene is darker and you cannot use shutter speed or aperture to adjust without ruining the scene. And in contrast, when the scene is too bright you can use lower ISO to decrease exposure.

What is Gain
Gain has the same effect as ISO, increasing the camera's sensitivity to light, however, gain can be used to change the lighting during a video. You can increase the gain to increase exposure or decrease gain to decrease exposure during a film.
