End of MP reflection blog post

The presentations that I chose to reflect on were Aiden Rimmer Zachary Willard and Caleb Underkoffler.

First of all, I thought it was very cool to see that Caleb was working on something for a game that he clearly felt passionate about, I am sure this drove him to make something without flaws and is understandably

why he spent so much time and effort perfecting the concept. I think it is cool that he got input from his friends with similar interests on his concept and seriously took that into consideration, which is something I might do more of in the future.  It was overall good to see that he organized and valued his planning and I cannot wait to see what this character looks like when he is finished modeling it.

Zach's film was intriguing and inspired serious thinking. He did so with enticing camera angles, a clear

conflict and complex evolving plot and just a general casual and relatable feel developed by the settings and characters of the film. He also included a lot of planning and scripts which are clearly shown in the smoothness of the final product. Surprisingly he only had two people throughout the entire film which is interesting because having a large cast can be hard to coordinate, but as he explains having one that is very small can also make it hard for both actors to fill all of the roles to make a movie.

Aiden Rimmer:

Aiden's film was not complete because he had problems that I would not even think of as a digital modeling student. For example, filming outside when the weather is changing and constantly changing

your settings, and coordinating so many actors. That being said I enjoyed the film that he did create and it had more editing than any other film. The text cutouts to other media and more really livened up the video considering it was realistically only a food review. Now after watching the first Aiden Rimmer show, I am excited about the episode he is creating now I am sure he has worked hard on It, and it will be entertaining like the first ones.

Issac Monteny:

Issac's film had very little planning unlike Zach's and many of the others, however, there is an appeal to improv and how everything feels in the final product. Several comedians that I enjoy watching are strictly improv and some even make loosely scripted improv sketches similar to Issac's. I also think it is interesting how personal the film was to Issac as he explained in his reflection but he still portrayed it in an exaggerated comedic effect. His ability to improvise is good and not something that I can exactly relate to as a digital modeling student but to some extent, things do become too time-consuming or complicated so I do have to improvise possibly through blend swap so I can kinda understand.
